Know Your Rights

Before talking to insurance adjusters or settling a claim it is important to know all of your rights. Today most adjusters are trained in "delay and deny" tactics, which can result in lowering or denying a claim. The reasoning behind this is to settle a case before individuals have the chance to talk to an attorney or accident/injury specialist.

Almost all states have different laws regarding insurance coverage and policies. Kansas is a "no fault" car insurance state and individuals that carry car insurance are required to have personal injury protection (PIP). PIP is designed streamline accident claims and cover medical expenses and lost wages deemed reasonable by your insurance company.
